Our new 11 plus site is born ...
At last, after lots of hard work, our new eleven plus site is ready.
We hope that you will find all the information we have compiled useful to you.
We understand that preparing for - and taking - the Eleven Plus exam (or similar) is a particularly stressful time for both pupils and parents and aim to provide you with access to our wealth of experience and knowledge gained over many years.
We recommend that you have a look at our new Eleven Plus Handbook that is available as a free download (see link on the left-hand side of the page). You may already have thought about much that is in it, but some reminders will do no harm, and there may be something new which hasn't occurred to you before.
One section of this site has been given over to free downloads to which we will be adding over time. These have been prepared with the utmost care and are not poor quality pages thrown together for the sake of having something to give away.
We know that there is a degree of uncertainty over the future of 11 plus type school entrance examinations. The new coalition Government's proposal to create more academies will probably alter the status and type of entrance examinations. We will try to keep you abreast of all the relevant information through this site.
